YEX (Yolk Extract) is a fully GMP compliant growth supplement made from Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) eggs. It is formulated to be used in exactly the same way as FBS when culturing cells. It contains no serum proteins. It contains the ideal blend of protein, lipids, amino acids, vitamins, carbohydrates, and minimally essential growth factors.
